Emma Johnson at Landguard Fort
25/05/2009 by jim.
I recently had a trip to Felixstowe and took in an Art Exhibition at Landguard Fort by resident artist, Emma Johnson.

Being a Sunny day with lighting restrictions I decided to shoot 5 exposures seperated by 1.5 stops and blend them together to make a high dynamic range image.

Landsguard Fort dates back to the Napoleonic War and is a gorgeous moody environment. Too much light would have spoilt the ambience.

Bright Sunlight through the windows would make normal lighting techniques very difficult even if it was allowed.

I really liked Emma Johnsons’s work in her exhibition entitled “Points of reference” and hope that I have done her justice.
